Two Muses owner/artist Zack Kinsey started tattooing in Austin, Texas in 1999 under the mentorship of Larry Edwards, and has been tattooing in Minneapolis since 2004. He worked at a couple of different shops in Minneapolis until settling in at Uptown Tattoo, where he stayed for 13 years before opening Two Muses Tattoo Studio in August of 2020.

Zack is a student of tattooing, with a respect for those of the past, and an understanding of the permanence, and importance of each tattoo. He enjoys working in multiple styles, but prefers doing tattoos which are influenced by American traditional, and Asian tattooing. He enjoys doing large scale work, as well as some smaller pieces.
